Meet Fallon
A WONDERFUL BIG PUP: 6 – 7 Months old / Approx. 52 lbs. and growing Hello, my name is Fallon! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control. I am a Mastiff mix pup, so I will likely be a big girl once I’m finished growing and I have a big heart with lots of love to share. I look forward to the life that awaits me in my new furever home! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I met another large, playful dog in my short break foster home, and we enjoyed each other’s company while I was there. If you have a nice doggie who may want a puppy playmate, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / No cats please as I see them as prey. / I seem to know my size and was polite when playing with the older kids in my short break foster home, so children in my new home may be nice. I AM a large pup though, so best no toddlers that I may accidentally bump over, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a sweet girl with a silly personality that is sure to charm you – and even make you giggle. My short break foster said that I am a ‘great dog’ who is sure to ‘make someone happy’. I’m ready to do just that! I am playful, but pretty gentle for my size. / My energy level is 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm enrolled in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘place’ commands and I look forward to learning more. To be a puppy, my leash manners are pretty good already! I visited a home for about a week and in that home, I learned ‘down’, ‘come’, ‘leave-it’ and what ‘let’s go’ means. I did a little digging in the yard, and you must use caution around open doors/gates, so I don’t slip out. I’ll be working on this with my trainer. I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts, and they were great in my short break foster home – sleeping there through the night with just some minimal initial whining. / My potty habits are coming along. I've had some accidents on the shelter schedule but was starting to get the hang of the doggie door in my short break foster home, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: My favorite toys are anything that squeaks, and I LOVE to play with the big rubber balls in the MM play yard too! Large Nylabones are great, and I do need something to chew on since I’m a growing puppy. I also love cuddling and ear scratches because they feel great! / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I’m current on my vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly.
