Meet Francine

A SWEET SNUGGLER:  2 years old / 53 lbs.  Hello there!  I’m Francine!  Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I am now ready to meet my new family and start my best life with them!  I’m currently in the prison/foster training program off site and learning a lot!  Please inquire at 770-272-6888 to find out when I'm available to meet. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met dogs recently at Mostly Mutts and liked the male dogs, but not the females.  I also liked the male dogs I met in several temporary foster homes.  I am a very dominant female so if you have a nice male dog at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / I am curious about and try to play with the older cat in my foster home.  He does not want to play, but if you have a dog-friendly or dog-tolerant cat at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I love playing with the kids in my foster home, ages 11, 5 and 3, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The volunteers describe me as an ‘extremely sweet’ girl who is very loving and accepting of all the attention that comes my way. I’m playful and affectionate with a calm nature – enjoying a comfy roll in the towels after my shelter bath.  I am known for standing on the big rock that sits on the shelter property like a goat (lol) when I go for my walks, so the volunteers feel I would be someone’s trusty hiking partner.  My temp. foster said I seemed a little shy when I went on my walks so I may need a little adjustment with new experiences.  She also said I was a great independent player, just enjoying short times in her yard to explore and sunbathe.  / My energy level is 4-6.    • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer.  I’ve already mastered the ‘sit’ and ‘down’ commands, so check back soon to see what else I have learned. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having just a few accidents on the shelter schedule.  Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills.  • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love to spend time with people and am always ready for those great belly rubs – my favorite!  Snuggle time is the best time, and I enjoy all the petting and cuddles that come my way.  I’ll put my paws on your lap as if to ask for some love.  I like sunbathing and some nice outside time.  Toys are great too, so let’s have some great play sessions together.  I also love all the chew toys – Nylabones, antlers, rubber balls and of course Kongs with peanut butter, but please keep an eye out for damage to my toys as I am a very strong chewer and have been known to destroy a Kong or two, so don’t let me swallow any pieces.  As mentioned above, I may enjoy hitting the hiking trails with you, too.  / I don’t like dogs barking and I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a wonderful home where I will be loved for life!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. Adoption Info: Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only. Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets.
