Meet Kammy

SWEET, FUN & VERY ACTIVE:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 35 lbs. Hi, my name is Kammy!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and the volunteers are making sure I get all the love and attention each dog deserves.  I’m now ready to meet my new family and start the good life with them.  So exciting! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I like the dogs I have met at Mostly Mutts and get excited – in a friendly way - when I see them on my walks so – if you have  a nice dog at home, let’s meet! / I’ve not officially met cats at Mostly Mutts, but the assessment team feels I would likely do best not living with cats. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, but I went on a day trip and liked the kids I met on my walk.  If you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  The volunteers describe me as ‘beautiful and sweet’ as well as ‘very playful and active’! I recently went on a day trip to the park with a volunteer.  Here are some of the things they reported about me:  ‘Kammy was amazing with all the people she met (of all ages). She was especially good with a teenage boy with special needs. She has a lot of energy, and someone will be very lucky to adopt her.’  You will love my happy, playful and friendly demeanor! / My energy level is 6-8, so plan on being active with your new best friend. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’, ‘stay’, ‘come’ and ‘leave it’ commands, as well as using proper door etiquette and I look forward to learning more – including polishing  my ‘enthusiastic’ leash habits, as I currently pull, jump and want to put the leash in my mouth. Check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having some accidents on the shelter schedule.  Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I enjoy being active and have a zest for fun and play!  Running around, picking up sticks (please don’t let me chew on those though), going on fun outings with people and playing with toys – I love it all! / I can’t think of any real dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a loving home where I will be a cherished family member!   My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. Adoption Info: Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
