Meet Buddy
A WONDERFUL PUPPY FRIEND: Approx. 6 months old / Approx. 30 lbs. & growing Hi, I’m Buddy! I’m a delightful pup who worked my way to Mostly Mutts through a good Samaritan once I completed my hold at animal control. Now I’m in a wonderful foster home waiting for my new family to find and adopt me! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I’m reported to love other dogs, so if you have a dog that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / Though I don’t recall their ages, the good Samaritan, who helped me, reported that I liked the kids in the home of varying ages, so if you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m described as very sweet, friendly, well-behaved and very intelligent. I was a good pup for my photo shoot, too, and I enjoyed meeting the new people there. / My energy level is 5-7+, of course this could change as I grow up. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: In my foster home, I’ve learned the ‘sit’, ‘drop it’ and ‘leave it’ commands. I also have good leash manners. I’m looking for a family that will continue my good training and teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog, so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / My crate manners are good in my foster home. / My potty manners have been good in my foster home. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I really enjoy playing with toys and doing some playing with the family in my foster’s yard. I’m sure we’ll find lots of other things we enjoy doing together. / I’m not a fan of thunder, and car rides make me a bit nauseous. Hopefully, I’ll out-grow that. I can’t think of anything else that I don’t like, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I’m current on my immunizations, micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
