Meet Magnolia
‘FIXER UPPER’ THEME PUPPY: Approx. 4 - 5 months old / Approx. 21 lbs. & growing Hi, I’m Magnolia! One of the adorable Fixer Upper puppies who joined Mostly Mutts from animal control. I’m sure happy to be here and loving all the attention and good care I’m getting, but nothing will beat a family of my own to grow up with! I’m ready to meet that family now, perhaps you? • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I came in with 2 siblings but have not met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so if you have a dog that would enjoy a puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m described as very sweet and cuddly as well as pretty calm for a puppy of my age and a tad skittish of sudden movements. I enjoy my time with the volunteers, getting hugs and kisses from them as well as being petted and just shown that I’m loved. I give them kisses in return. I’m sweet, playful and adorable. / My energy level is approx. 4-6, though this could increase as I grow. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and I look forward to learning lots of commands with my trainer. So far, I know the ‘sit’ command and my trainer reports that I should be an easy-to-train doggie, especially when using treats. I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / I’m doing pretty well in my crate at Mostly Mutts, but I do have accidents in it, especially overnight, since I’m so young. / I’m working on my potty training, but my new family will need to continue this training using positive reinforcement. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to run and play, especially with very large balls in the Mostly Mutts play yard. I like giving kisses and getting affection from the volunteers and just being with people. I also love treats. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and spayed. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
