Meet Brandie
A SUPER SWEET LAP DOG: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 15 lbs. Hi, my name is Brandie! I came to Mostly Mutts when animal control rescued me and quite a few other dogs from a situation that was not good. I’m now loving life in a nice foster home while I wait for my new family to adopt me. My foster family adores me, and I bet you will, too! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I get along well with the other dogs in my foster home, and I came in with other dogs – so, if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / There is a sweet child who visits my foster home, and I like them because they treat me kindly and know how to be gentle with me. If you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: My foster says I am ‘truly a joy to have around and you will fall in love with me right away with my sweet laid-back personality’. I am a lovable, curious little lap dog who is friendly and gentle in nature. I’m also a social girl, but can show an independent side as well. I am a very happy girl who has adjusted well in my foster home. Playful and loving, I’m ready to make a lucky family very happy. / My energy level is 3-5, as I prefer to lounge with my people rather than exercise much. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I know the ‘sit’ command and have nice leash manners. You can teach me even more great doggie commands. / I am very well-behaved when in the crate in my foster home. I haven’t barked when I’m in the crate during the day for short periods of time. I also haven’t barked at night when I sleep there through the night. / I’ve had good potty habits in my foster home, on a schedule when taken out about every 2 – 3 hours during the day. Hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I absolutely love to be with people, and I’ll happily sit on a lap, next to you, or on any comfy dog bed around the house. I like soft toys to play with, too. I can’t wait to find lots of other things we will enjoy doing together. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a loving home with a great family for life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
