‘SESAME STREET’ THEMED PUPPY - BOY!: Approx. 2 - 3 months old / Large once full grown Hi there, I’m one of the wonderful Sesame Street puppies who has been having a blast growing and learning in my foster home with my mom and siblings. I’m now old enough to find a furever family all my own and I’m very excited about that! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I love my siblings and the adult dogs in my foster home, so if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / I haven’t met kitties yet, but I’m very young so I’d likely do well with them if they like puppies. / I haven’t met kids in my foster home, but I’d likely enjoy them as long as they are gentle with me and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over. Let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: Though I enjoy playing with my litter mates I’m also quick to find a perfect spot to lay down, watch the others, or just sleep. My foster says it's very special when I actually fuss for attention because that means I’m being courageous as I’m a bit shy and will not come right out and demand attention. I typically wait until you come to me, so be sure to give me lots of love. When you pick me up, I’ll snuggle into your neck and just enjoy you. I’m a kind and gentle pup who is adorable when I’m dreaming as my little tongue tends to hang out in such a cute way. I’ll quickly respond to the call and run inside. I’m such a good boy! / I’m a typical puppy with an energy level of 4 - 6 with bursts of higher energy at times. Of course, I’m very young, so my energy level may change as I grow up. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: So far, I know the sit command and I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / You can crate train me. / I’m pretty good at using the potty pads that are placed in strategic locations in my foster home and I’m starting to learn my outside potty training too, but I will need you to focus on this and finish this training. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like it when you pick me up and take me to the couch where I can get super comfy on your lap and fall asleep. I also like to chill and lay under the desk in my foster mom’s office while she works. I enjoy a bit of outdoor time with my foster family and siblings in our yard each day and then I’m ready for a nap. Playing with a ball or running around with the latest tasty chew is also fun and I just love getting kisses near my ears. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly.
