Meet Hugs
‘VALENTINE’ THEMED PUPPY: Approx. 2 months old / Approx. 5 lbs. & growing Hi, I’m Hugs – a super cute and lovable puppy! I came from a situation where there were just way too many dogs, so animal control helped me and quite a few others work our way to Mostly Mutts, so I can find a new family to love! I’m a wonderful puppy looking for a great family to raise and love me furever – perhaps you? • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I love my siblings and the other puppies I’ve met in my foster home, so if you have a dog that would like a little puppy sibling, let’s meet! / I haven’t met kitties yet, but I’m very young so I’d likely do well with them if they like puppies. / I haven’t met kids in my foster home, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a young puppy, so my personality is blossoming as I grow. So far, my foster reports that I’m absolutely adorable! / My energy level is approximately 5-7, though this could change as I grow up. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / You can teach me my crate manners. / I’m at the perfect age to start my outside potty training in our yard, so you can teach me that. Make sure to stay very close to me in our yard as the birds of prey could easily pick me up. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I like all the typical puppy things such as playing, eating, sleeping, cuddling with my people and other pups, and just being loved, of course. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
Thank you for your patience and support!
