Meet Isaac
A FUN & PLAYFUL GUY: Approx. 6-7 months old / Approx. 33 lbs. & growing Hello, I’m Isaac! Mostly Mutts rescued me from animal control, and I could not be happier to be part of the Mostly Mutts family. I’m enjoying hanging out with the volunteers, and I am very excited to meet my new family – hopefully soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: A typical puppy, I have LOTS of energy and look forward to being active with my new family. I’m playful and fun with a sweet, friendly nature you are sure to love. I’ve heard the volunteers describe me as a ‘handsome, fabulous dog’ – and I think that says a lot! I’m a happy guy who could not hide my joy – even during my shelter bath, when I wagged my tail the whole time. Affectionate and sweet, I am ready to love and be loved! / My energy level is 6-8, so get ready to be active with your new best friend! • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University, where I am learning lots of great commands with my trainer. So far, I have mastered the ‘sit’ and ‘down’ commands, so check back soon to see what else I have learned. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I'm having some accidents on the shelter schedule. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to have fun with people and enjoy all the toys. The stuffed ones are my favorite! I enjoy playing, but I am equally fond of giving and receiving affection. I’m naturally curious and tend to want to explore with my mouth during my walks – so keep an eye on me so I don’t try to pick things up that may not be good for me. / I can’t think of any dislikes since I am a puppy, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
Thank you for your patience and support!
