Meet Kelce

“LOVE STORY” THEMED PUPPY:  Approx. 2 months old / Approx. 12 lbs. and growing Hello!  I’m Kelce!  My sister and I ended up at animal control, but when Mostly Mutts came, they knew that was no place for two puppies to be for very long, so they rescued us!  Ever since, we have been frolicking and growing in a great foster home.  Now, it is time for each of us to find families of our very own – so excited!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I love my sibling and would likely really enjoy another dog to play with in my new home if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, so let’s meet! / I haven’t met kitties yet, but I’m very young so I’d likely do well with them if they like puppies. / I recently met a child who visited my foster home and did very well with him.  I think I’d enjoy having children in my new home as long as they are gentle with me and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may nibble on since I am in that stage of puppy life.  Let’s meet!                          • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m described as a ‘cute and energetic’ little puppy!  I am super cuddly and lovable – even during my photo session at the shelter!  I’m a bit more energetic and dominant than my sister, and a little more vocal, but equally as playful and loving.  I can’t wait to bring lots of puppy love to my new home! / My energy level is currently 5 – 7, but of course that may change as I grow up.   • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog including curbing my puppy mouthiness (which is improving), so get ready for some training with your new best friend. My leash manners in my yard are improving with treats as my reward, with no pulling or biting the leash – so once I’ve finished up all my puppy shots, I’m sure some great walks will be nice to do together! / I currently crate very well with my sibling – keeping it clean so far and sleeping there through the night. I’m sure there will be an adjustment period in my new home though. / I am a puppy, so I will need you to finish my potty training.  In my foster home, I use pee pads inside the house and am really good at trying to hit the mark, though it’s hit and miss at times.  Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  Both my sister and I love to wrestle, cuddle, and chase each other!  Also, we both have a healthy appetite and love to nap together while we recharge our batteries. I enjoy playing outside in the leaves and finding sticks and acorns in my yard. I’m sure we will find lots of fun things to do together as I grow up. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training.  • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and spayed. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. Adoption Info: Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
