Meet Clark
‘GRISWOLD’ THEMED PUPPY: Approx. 2 - 3 months old / Approx. 7 lbs. and growing Hello - I’m Clark - one of the adorable Griswold themed puppies! My siblings and I came to Mostly Mutts in need of loving homes, so we are grateful to now be in wonderful foster homes, where we are growing and thriving - ready to meet families of our very own! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I love my sibling who shares my foster home! I’ve done well with the dogs that live there too and seem to read their cues well when it is time to stop playing with them. I would likely enjoy another dog to play with in my new home if you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, so let’s meet! / I haven’t met kitties yet, but I’m very young so I’d likely do well with them if they like puppies. / I haven’t met kids in my foster home, but I’d likely enjoy them as long as they are gentle with me and best no toddlers that may fall on me. Let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am an active, silly, and sweet puppy, and my foster says I am pretty smart too! I’m playful and full of energy until it is time to cuddle. I am great at that – sleeping through an entire Christmas movie in my foster’s lap. I’m quite social and will be a loving family member! / My energy level is 5 - 7. A typical puppy, I go full steam ahead, then crash. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog, so get ready for some training with your new best friend. My foster family has been working with me on the ‘sit’ command, and I bet you can teach me even more! / I’m fed in my crate and share one at night with my sister and – though we both protest at first, we do settle down and sleep through the night. / My potty habits are coming along nicely for such a young pup, but I will need you to finish my potty training. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to play and one of my favorite activities is tug-o-war with a rope toy. I spend my days playing with my sibling, chewing on bones, and snuggling with my foster or the bigger dogs when I am tired. / I am not a fan of being separated from my foster family, as my sibling and I are both quite social. Otherwise, I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
Thank you for your patience and support!
