Meet Kevin

A SWEET & SPUNKY PUPPY:  Approx. 2 months old / Approx. 8 lbs. and growing Hi, I’m Kevin!  I was all alone with no one to care for me, so Mostly Mutts took me in from a Good Samaritan and is helping me find my very own family!  In the meantime, I’ve been spending time in a great foster home learning all the things that will make me a great companion!     • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I live with two other dogs in my foster home and enjoy their company.  They are also teaching me some doggie manners when I overstep my boundaries on occasion because I’m an active and silly puppy.   If you have a nice doggie that would like a puppy friend, let’s meet! / I haven’t met kitties yet, but I’m very young so I’d likely do well with them if they like puppies. / I love the children I’ve met while in my foster home, but I have sharp puppy teeth and am still learning not to nibble on people.  So, if you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over and know that I’ll need puppy training for my mouthiness.  Let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I am a sweet and playful puppy with a spunky personality.  My foster says I have two settings – on and off – lol.  I’m either involved in energetic play sessions or ready to chill out, roll over and beg for belly rubs.  Rumor has it that – with continued training - I am ‘going to be a great family dog’ as I grow up and as I learn not to use my voice when I’m in my crate at times. / My energy level is 6-8, as I go full throttle then sleep to refuel.    • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog, so get ready for some training with your new best friend.  I’ve been working on some commands in my foster home (‘sit’, ‘no bark’ and ‘come’).  You can reinforce these and teach me even more. / My crate manners are pretty good in my foster home, and I like to keep it clean too.  First thing in the morning I need to go potty and will whine and even puppy scream loudly to let you know. / My potty habits are coming along in my foster’s yard.  While I know how to do my business outside and am pretty good at it, I am still having a few accidents, so I just need you to help me complete my potty training by keeping me on a good schedule and providing positive reinforcement.   • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I’m a people dog and absolutely love to cuddle on the sofa under a comfy blanket. I enjoy lots of attention … and the treats that come my way are great, too.  Mealtime is always looked forward to, as I am a bit of a ‘foodie’ – lol.  When not working off some energy with active play, I love belly rubs … and Nylabones too! / If I’m not quite ready to ‘call it a day’ with my people, I sometimes resist going into my crate, but comply pretty easily.  Otherwise, I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise and training. • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adoption Process
