Meet Cameron
A WONDERFUL PUPPY FRIEND: Approx. 2-3 months old / Approx. 7 lbs. & growing Hi there, I’m Cameron! I joined the Mostly Mutts family when they came to animal control and rescued me. I can’t recall how I ended up there at just 7 weeks old, but I’m thankful they came and I’ve been having a blast in my foster home while I wait for my new family to come and adopt me! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: My foster reports that I’m very social with and love playing with the other dogs in the home! I’m still learning the concept of boundaries and personal space, so if you have a patient dog that would like a playful ‘in your face’ kind of puppy friend, let’s meet! / I haven’t met kitties yet, but I’m very young so I’d likely do well with them if they like puppies. / I haven’t met kids in my foster home, but I’d likely enjoy them as long as they are gentle with me and best no toddlers that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a social pup who is super adorable and loves snuggling with my family – in fact one of my favorite things is to find a way to climb into their laps, and take a nap, so lap time is one of my requirements. My fosters reported that the moment I stepped into their home, I felt right at home, so I think I’ll adjust to new environments quite well! I’ve been very good at entertaining myself with toys before finding you for some nap and lap time. / Energy level: 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / I will need you to crate train me as it’s very new to me right now and I hate it! My fosters have started feeding me in my crate to associate it with positive things. / I’m just a baby and at the very beginning of my potty training, so know that you will have to teach me this. My fosters have started training me, but I have a way to go, and this cold weather is not my favorite time to go outside. In my foster home, I’m pretty good with potty pads while I’m learning my outside training. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love people, other dogs, playing with toys, napping in laps, and anything fun! I’m sure we will find lots more that we love doing together as I grow up! / Other than the crate, I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly.
