Meet Margie
A WONDERFUL COMPANION: Approx. 1 year old / Approx. 31 lbs. Hi, my name is Margie! I was at animal control when Mostly Mutts came to my rescue! I had a bad case of Demodex (non-contagious) mange and had lost most of my hair as a result. Not to mention my skin was itchy and inflamed. I was in rough shape! Fast forward, and you can see that the good care and medicated baths have done their job and my fur is returning – more beautiful than ever! I’m now ready to bring lots of love to my new family, so plan to meet me soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I like the dogs I’ve met while with Mostly Mutts and am best buds with the 65 lb. Lab mix in my foster home. I follow her everywhere! My fosters say that I would really enjoy having a doggie friend in my new home to pal around with, so if you have a nice dog at home, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet with Mostly Mutts, but my foster thinks that because I have a wonderful nature, I would probably enjoy nice children. So, if you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: Before going to my foster home, the volunteers said that I was ‘the sweetest pup on the planet’. There are lots of sweet pups, so I think that is a great compliment! I have a super friendly personality and a playful nature. My affectionate side is pretty evident too, as I am a cuddler when play time is over. My fosters had big crowds of folks over the holidays - both for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I really enjoyed the attention and didn’t mind the excitement of a full house. I’m just a great dog, all around! / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am definitely a dog who likes to please, so I bet you can teach me some great commands. I already know the ‘sit’ command, so please plan on teaching me lots more. I’ve still got a bit of puppy in me and am a chewer who sometimes gets into mischief, so keep Benebones handy so I don’t chew things I shouldn’t. / I sleep in a crate through the night in my foster home. / I’m still working on my potty manners, so please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I’m a ‘people dog’ who likes being close to my humans. At play time, I love playing fetch with plush toys, but – I’m a young chewer, so set them aside when playtime is over if you want them to last – lol. I love my Benebones, so they are great chew substitutes for my toys. Though fairly calm inside, I do love romping in the yard with the other dog in my foster home, so a nice, fenced yard where we could hang out together would be nice in my new home. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I’m still getting medicated baths for a little longer and these can easily be done in my new home. I am looking for a loving home where I will be a cherished family member! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.

The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
