Meet Lacy
A FRIENDLY & PLAYFUL GIRL: 3 years old / 32 lbs. Hi there! My name’s Lacy! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am very grateful that they are helping me find my way to my new furever family! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown / I recently met kids at Mostly Mutts, and I really liked them. My excitement caused me to be a bit jumpy, so children age 10+ would be a good fit for me, and – of course, let’s meet! • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a super sweet girl with a friendly and playful nature. I always seem to be happy, and the volunteers love my fun personality. A cuddly and loving wiggler - what’s not to love? / My energy level is 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am now a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I am learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer. I am head of my class, having mastered lots of commands – ‘sit’, ‘down’, ‘stay’, ‘come’, ‘leave it’ and ‘drop it’. I’ve also shown I know how to accept friendly strangers without jumping. Check back soon to see what else I have learned. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I am a real people dog who wants to be where you are. I bark when the volunteers leave me, so an apartment or condo setting may not be the best fit for me. Toys are great fun, and I love play sessions. I enjoy my walks (though I pull a little on my leash) or just sitting outside with you is wonderful. I also enjoy soaking up all the affection, especially those awesome belly rubs. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a home with a wonderful family who will love me for life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
