Meet Johnny
A FUN YOUNG PUP: Approx. 2 - 3 months old / Approx. 11 lbs. and growing Hi, my name is Johnny! My sibling and I were at animal control when Mostly Mutts came to rescue us. We’ve spent some time in a short break foster home, as well as with the nice volunteers at the shelter. I am now ready to find my very own family to love and be loved by! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I got along well with the adult 12 lb. dog in my short break foster home and wanted to play with him within a few minutes of meeting him. So, if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a sweet, friendly, and fun fellow! My bather at the shelter describes me as ‘a sweet old man in a puppy body’, because I was so calm and wonderful for my bath. I’m a bit more active and playful than my sibling, but I also give sweet puppy cuddles. I was a little explorer in my short break foster home with a curiosity about my surroundings. / My energy level is currently 4 – 6, of course this could change as I grow up. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I don’t know any specific commands just yet, but I am a young pup and eager to learn, so let’s have fun training together! / I do well in my little room at the shelter. / I’m just a baby and will need you to potty train me. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to chase toys and play with my sibling as well as the adult dog in my short break foster home! Playing in the yard was great fun too, but I liked to know where my person was when we were outside and stayed pretty close to them. When I’m not playing, I never turn down cuddle time – often laying my head on my short break foster’s leg for a little bit … before being off to play again. I love meal time and am a fast eater. A slow feeder is recommended for me, so I don’t get a tummy ache. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a home with a great family for life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets.
