Friends to the Forlorn Pitbull Rescue is a 501 c 3 no-kill, charitable organization dedicated to the care of homeless, unwanted, abused, and neglected pitbulls, particularly those who are considered hard to place or with special needs. All dogs under our care are provided with food, shelter, veterinary care, as well as basic house-training and obedience until placement is found. We will try to match the dog and appropriate, loving, and permanent home based on the dog's temperament & personality evaluation as well as the prospective home's vet & home check. Veterinary care provided will ensure that the dog is in general good health, up-to-date on vaccinations, and spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Additionally,"Friends to the Forlorn" Pitbull Rescue Inc. takes pride in educating the public in the importance of proper and responsible pitbull ownership, spaying & neutering, as well as the humane care and treatment of all animals.

Name: Ewok Breed: French Bulldog/Pekingese Mix Sex: Male Approx. DOB: 7/9/2021 Weight: 31 lbs Location: Marietta, GA   RESCUING EWOK… Ewok was picked up from Mt. Tabor Park by Paulding County Animal Control. They searched for his owner and no one came forward. One of our fosters could not resist this pup and had to pull him to foster! Ewok received his FREEDOM RIDE on 2/9/23.   ABOUT EWOK… Ewok just entered foster care and is thriving! His foster family says that they are working hard on potty training, but he is doing so well in his crate already. He already knows to sit and will come to you when called. They say he is super clingy and loves to be with his people, so would love someone who will be home more or can take him to work. He is doing fine with other dogs but has not been tested with cats or kids yet. Ewok is a fun little guy who is very calm but enjoys his spurts of playfulness. He would make a great companion for someone! More to come on this sweet boy. ADOPTING EWOK… Ewok will be neutered, updated on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped prior to adoption. He is on monthly preventative.
