Meet Valentino
Valentino is a handsome 2-year-old, 60-pound gentleman who may seem shy at first, but once he warms up, he's a total sweetheart. He loves nothing more than a good cuddle session and is always eager to please. This gentle giant is crate-trained, knows how to sit and wait for his food, and loves car rides. He's great with kids and other dogs, making him a perfect addition to a loving family. *************************************************************************** This pet comes with an implanted 24 PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. *************************************************************************** This dog is available for adoption at the Humane Society of McCormick County is SC for an adoption fee. All of our dogs are indoor dogs with outdoor privileges. To adopt, contact 864-391-2349 or [email protected]. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 organization. To learn more, visit www.hsmcsc.org.
Adoption Process
Our adoption process starts with an interview. We want to know what type of cat or dog they are looking for, their lifestyle, and their expectations. Then we set up a meet and greet either at the shelter, a pet store, or at their home. Then they fill out an adoption contract. We offer and encourage potential adopters to take the dog or cat home on foster-to-adopt for a few weeks before finalizing the adoption. Our adoption fee is $65 for cats and $125 for dogs which included spay or neuter and vaccinations and for dogs, it includes a microchip. Cats can be microchipped upon request.
