Meet Chipper
***Chipper will be available for adoption at the Tractor Supply in Ringoes, NJ over the March 29-30 weekend. An application for his adoption can be submitted at socorescue.com (no need to register or login). Questions about Chipper and/or our adoption policy should be sent to [email protected]; please do not call the rescue's number.*** Chipper and his five littermates came to our rescue as owner surrenders. As a requirement of us accepting these pups, the owner agreed to have the mom spay and was able to do so through a grant made available through Fix GA Pets. We were told that the mom was a Border Collie mix, but we're not positive of their breed. Chipper seems to be on a mission to spread love and joy to everyone he meets. His friendly, playful (yet calm) personality will make him an excellent choice as a family companion. You'll be amazed at just how incredibly wonderful Chipper is and end up considering him to be the best dog you've ever met Chipper will have received 2/3 of his first year "puppy" vaccines with his final round due on April 14th. He's also been de-wormed at proper intervals and started on their monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. He'll need to receive his rabies vaccination after the age of 12 weeks. His adopter must agree to having Chipper neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide verification of such to our rescue. Chipper will require all of his basic training.
Adoption Process
we have an adoption questionnaire as well as a contract. The only fees we charge are those we are charged for the animal (vet fees)
