Meet Viola
A FUN & FRIENDLY GAL: Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 13 lbs. Hi, my name is Viola! I had a home, but my owner worked extremely long hours and knew they did not have the time to give me the love and attention all doggies deserve. Mostly Mutts agreed to help my find a new home with a furever family. Plan to come meet me soon, and let’s see if my ‘happily ever after’ begins with YOU! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I recently met dogs at Mostly Mutts and I played with them, though I was a bit nervous doing so. Despite my nerves, I didn’t show any aggression, so if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / I liked the kids and grandkids in my previous home, according to my owner, though I can’t recall their ages. So, if you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or that may fall on me. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a super cute, sweet, friendly, playful, fun and affectionate girl with a super cuddly side you are sure to love. Though a bit nervous for my shelter bath, I recovered quite nicely and showed my loving nature. I’m as playful as I am cute – which says a lot, as I sport a cute little speckled ear. / My energy level is 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I look forward to learning lots of great commands with my trainer. I was familiar with the ‘sit’ and ‘stay’ commands in my previous home, so I bet I will master those soon. Check back to see what else I have learned. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule and my former family was not home enough to focus on potty training, so I’ll need you to finish potty training me. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, with positive reinforcement. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to run zoomies in the play yard at the shelter, so I’m sure I would enjoy a fenced yard where we can have fun play sessions together. I also like playing with toys and I love to settle in for some cuddles and those awesome belly rubs! / Except for some wariness around other dogs I’ve seen at the shelter, I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for a loving home with a family who will cherish me for life! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly.
