Meet Giggles
A SWEET LITTLE LOVE BUG: Approx. 6 years old / Approx. 4.5 lbs. & needs to gain a little weight Hi, my name is Giggles! I had a home, but my family no longer had time to give me the care and attention all doggies deserve, so Mostly Mutts is going to help me find a new family to love. I’ve just gone into a foster home, so there will be even more information about me soon. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I reportedly liked the other dogs I met while in my previous home, so if you have a nice dog already, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / I did well with cats in my previous home. / My previous owner reported that I liked the teenager that I lived with. I did guard a person who was carrying me at the shelter, so teens will likely be best in my new home, let’s meet. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I was a bit confused when my world suddenly changed so I was understandably scared. I’ve been warming up to the nice volunteers at MM and even found some favorites before going into my foster home. I did start to do some people guarding when being carried and when a person approached whom I didn’t know. Not carrying me around could help with this. In general, I have a sweet and gentle nature and am friendly and very loving. Since I’m so small, please be sure my harness is well-fitted, so I don’t get loose or lost as I am tiny! / My energy level is 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I don’t have any particular skills right now so perhaps you can teach me some great doggie commands, but I am an expert at loving my people! / My crate manners have been good at Mostly Mutts. / I had some accidents in my previous home, but I was alone for a pretty long day - which is a lot for a little dog. I've also been having some accidents on the shelter schedule. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. Also, I’m very tiny, so please stay close to me in our yard as I may attract birds of prey due to my size. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love being with my people and I love being a cherished family member. / I can’t think of any dislikes, other than what’s mentioned above, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped, spayed. I just had a good dental cleaning, so my mouth is fresh again! I have luxating patellas in both rear legs which can be common in a lot of little dogs, and don’t need treatment at this time. I am looking for a loving home where I will be a cherished family member! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
