Meet Meredith
A COLLECTOR OF CUDDLES: Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 13 lbs. Hi, my name’s Meredith! I came to Mostly Mutts – scared and shy – from animal control and boy, was I glad they were able to rescue me! It didn’t take me long to show everyone that I’m a cuddle bug with a darling, yet a little shy, nature. I’m currently in a great foster home while I wait for my furever family to find me. • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, but I did come in with a friend that I like walking with, so if you have a nice doggie at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals! / Cats unknown. / I met kids around 10 years old and a little younger at Mostly Mutts and was very scared of them, so I think I would be better with older calm kids (age 15+) in my new home, please. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I arrived at Mostly Mutts unsure and timid. My new situation did not make sense to me. So, the volunteers took it slow with me and – with their love and patience – I am enjoying their company and showing them that I’m a wonderful ‘little doll baby’ – cuddling with my bather and snuggling into the towel after my shelter bath. Now, I even give hugs in appreciation for the attention that comes my way! / My energy level is 3-5. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I don’t think I know any commands yet, but I’m sure you can teach me some! I am excellent at snuggling and being adorable – I think those are the best skills to have. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / My potty habits have been good on the shelter schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES: My main mission? Cuddle, cuddle and cuddle some more! I’m happiest when I am snuggling into my person! I’m sure we can find lots of other things we’ll enjoy doing together too! / Other than being afraid of the kids I met, being rushed into a new situation, and snow, I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I have mild tartar and staining on my teeth, so my adoptive family should consult with their vet and consider a dental cleaning in the future. I am looking for a loving home where I will get all the love every doggie deserves! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets.
