Meet Georgie
A WONDERFUL PUP: Approx. 6 - 7 months old / Approx. 30 lbs. & growing Hi, I’m Georgie! I came to Mostly Mutts with a couple of other dogs that needed homes and I’m happy to be here! I’m young, adorable and can’t wait to meet my furever family and start living the good life with them! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, but I came in with a couple of dogs that I got along with, so if you have a dog at home that may like a big puppy friend, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over or nibble on as I am in the mouthy stage of puppyhood. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers describe me as very sweet and friendly, also a little shy but I do warm up nicely. They also say that I’m a cuddly love bug and lap dog. I like to spend time with them and can’t wait to find my new family to love. / Energy level: 4-6, though I’m young and it may increase in my new home. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy. I’m new to leash walking but it’s coming along, and I am a jumpy puppy, so know that I’ll need you to work with me on that. / I’m also new to crate training and it’s not my favorite place, so please help make it a more positive place for me when I need to be crated. / I’m working on my potty manners now and will need my new family to finish potty training me. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love spending time with the volunteers, getting attention and love. I’m sure we’ll discover a lot more that we enjoy doing together. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I came to MM with a slightly thin coat, but I think good nutrition, which I’m getting now will help it grow in better. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
