Meet Lauren

A SWEET FUREVER FRIEND:  Approx. 5 years old / Approx. 35 lbs.  Hi, my name is Lauren!  I made my way to Mostly Mutts through a nice vet in the area that was looking to help me find a furever home.  I am so glad to be part of the Mostly Mutts family and in a great foster home while I wait for my new family to find me.  Are you looking for a great furry family member?  • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I like the 2 Pug dogs in my foster home and have picked up on some doggie cues from them, so if you have a nice dog at home already, let’s meet! / I’ve had no issues with the cat in my foster home, so I may do well living with a dog-friendly kitty. / I’ve not met kids since coming to Mostly Mutts so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over.  • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My foster says I am ‘a real sweetie’, with a loving nature and I bet you will agree! I can be a bit nervous at first, and a little fearful of men, so I’d like a nice slow introduction to new people, especially men and a Mostly Mutts trainer will be happy to help you with this.  I do warm up nicely to people once I see that they are kind to me.  I’m affectionate and fun – ready to be a great companion!  / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I come when my foster calls me, and we’re working on some other commands, too.  Since I like treats, I bet you can teach me a lot. / I’ve not been crated in my foster home – I just haven’t needed to be.  I spent a good bit of time in a crate at the vet’s office, so just sleeping on the carpet is fine with me (I don’t really care for a dog bed at this point). / My potty habits have been great in my foster home on a good schedule, so hopefully that will be the case in my new home, too. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love getting petted and being with my people – especially when they take me out and about for long walks.  I hiked two miles with my foster and loved it!  Soft treats are just the best, and my favorites are Pup-Peroni and chewy milk bones. The recent snow was so much fun at my foster home, so we played outside and enjoyed the great outdoors.  I’d love a fenced yard where we can spend time playing or just hanging out together.  I’ve not shown much interest in toys, but they may be new to me – so I bet you can show me how much fun they are. / I don’t like when there is a closed door between me and my people and when people go too fast when meeting me.  I’m not a fan of car rides, but – since I love to walk – let’s walk to our destination!  I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed.   I am looking for a wonderful home with a great family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility.
