Meet Brock
A FUN & LOVING PUPPY: Approx. 4 - 5 months old / Approx. 36 lbs. & growing Hi, my name is Brock! Mostly Mutts was able to rescue me from animal control, and it sure was my lucky day when I became a part of the MM family. I’m ready to begin life with my new furever family now, so come meet me soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: The volunteers describe me as a very sweet boy who is friendly and handsome. I’m also a playful and happy guy with a personality that is pretty ‘chill’ for a puppy at times. A well-mannered guy, I stood calmly for my shelter bath and my affectionate nature loved the shampoo scrub that came with it. I can be a bit of a tripping hazard at times, so best no family members with mobility challenges. / My energy level is 5-7. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I'm in the Mostly Mutts University training program and have already mastered the ‘sit’ command and I look forward to learning more. I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I’m a puppy and have been having accidents on the shelter schedule. So, please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I love to play and really enjoy when the volunteers break out the toys in the play room or pen at the shelter. A typical puppy, being active is fun, and I want to be as close to my people as I can, so I get underfoot sometimes. / I can’t think of things I don’t like yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow. I’m also micro-chipped and neutered. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
