Meet Henley
A SWEET & FUN FRIEND: 2 Years old / 26 lbs. Hi, my name’s Henley! I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and am so grateful to be getting all the great love and care all doggies deserve while I wait for my new family to find me! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS: I’ve met some dogs at the shelter and even have a doggie friend there that I really like, so I may enjoy another dog in my new home. If you have a nice dog at home, let’s meet and see if we can be pals. / Cats unknown / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL: I am a sweet, social guy who thrives on being close to my people. Lovable and cuddly, my friendly nature is sure to charm you. If you are looking for a nice dog to add to your family, come meet me soon! / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY: I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program, where I will be learning lots of great doggie commands with my trainer. I’m a bit of a criss-cross walker, so my leash walking skills are on my assignment list. Check back soon to see my progress. / My crate manners are good at Mostly Mutts. / I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule. Please continue to be consistent with me on a good schedule, so I can master my potty skills. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I am all about people and am always ready to enjoy a comfy spot in a lap. My cuddle skills are top-notch, so make time for snuggles with me. I’ve shown interest in toys, so let’s have some fun together with those. / I can’t think of any dislikes, though I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL: I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a home where I will be a cherished family member! My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.
Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process
Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following:
Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care.
We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot.
The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org.
Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family!
Adoption Info:
Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only.
Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email.
Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
