Meet Tinsley

A VERY SWEET GIRL:  Approx. 2 years old / Approx. 30 lbs. Hi, my name’s Tinsley!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control, and I am so happy to be part of the Mostly Mutts family.  I’m in a great foster home now, and I’m really looking forward to finding my furever loving family. I hear it’s time for me to do that now – so excited!   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I haven’t met other dogs at Mostly Mutts or in my foster home yet, so let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I like to spend time with the kids in my foster home (ages 5-16).  I do get excited when I think they have food and like to jump up.  I also get a little mouthy when I’m excited, so – best no toddlers or very young kids that I may accidentally bump over or be too much for and of course, let’s meet!                   • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a very sweet and loving girl who equally enjoys being close to my people, both inside and outside.  I can be a little nervous and anxious at first, so please give me a little extra time to settle in and feel like I’m home.  I’m affectionate and happily gave kisses after my shelter bath which was so adorable.  I have a typical Lab curiosity and playfulness, and my foster family says that I’m a great dog! / My energy level is 5-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m a smart girl and know ‘sit’, ‘down’, and ‘shake’ (50% of the time), so I’m still working on mastering those.  I also ‘come’ when called most of the time.  I bet you can finish teaching me these skills and even more! I am also great on a leash, so let’s take some wonderful walks together. / I vocalize a little when I don’t want to be in the crate, but it’s coming along with time and patience. / I’m having accidents in my foster home, so I will need you to help me master my potty skills using a consistent schedule and positive reinforcement. • LIKES/DISLIKES: I really like my walks and enjoy running, so if you are looking for an exercise buddy – I could be your girl!  I absolutely love to be with my people – just hanging out and soaking up attention.  At playtime, I like to alternate between squeaky toys and chew toys.  I LOVE mealtimes and eat a little too enthusiastically, so a slow feeder bowl helps keep me from getting a tummy ache from eating too fast. / I’m startled by strange house noises (garage doors, etc.).  Otherwise, I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on annual vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed. I am looking for great home with a loving, furever family!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot. Adoption Info: Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only. Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal.
