Meet Keisha

A WONDERFUL PUPPY:  Approx.  2 - 3 months old / Approx. 14 lbs. & growing Hi, I’m Keisha!  I came to Mostly Mutts as an owner turn in and I’m happy to be here!  I’m having fun in a wonderful foster home while I wait for my new family to find me – perhaps you?   • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  In my foster home, I love dogs – big and small – I’m all in and would enjoy a doggie friend in my new home, so let’s meet!  I do eat quickly and once I’m finished, I’ll try to eat other dogs’ food, so best to feed me separately until I learn to only eat my food. / I am curious about the kitty in my foster home and have just sniffed her, so if you have a dog friendly kitty, let’s meet. / I love playing with the 10- and 13-year-old grandkids that visit my home, so if you have kids, let’s meet and best no toddlers that may fall on me or that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  My foster describes me as the happiest dog all day long!  I’m all puppy and my play can get rambunctious but I’m also a love and enjoy naps during the day and just hanging out with my people. I also ride very well in the car. / I have a high puppy energy level at 7-8+ but I also know how to calm myself down and take naps.  • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I’m looking for a family that will teach me everything I need to know to grow up and become a wonderful adult dog – including starting to train me not to chew on you and the kids so we’ll all be happy - so get ready for some training with your new best friend. I’m treat motivated and my foster reports that I’m smart and obedient, so I think I’ll enjoy learning!  So far, I’ve learned the ‘sit’ and ‘come’ commands and I know what the word ‘no’ means. / Crate training is new to me and to be honest, I hate it and am very loud about my displeasure, so no apartment/condo type home for me please as the neighbors would not be happy!  I’ll need my family to teach me this with positive reinforcement and patience if you want to use a crate with me.  In my foster home, I use the steps to get into bed with my foster and if I need to potty during the night, I climb down – use the pee pad and put myself back to bed. / I’m about 90% pee pad trained in my foster home and am working on my outside potty training now, but I’ll need my family to potty train me. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love playing with the other dogs, toys of all kinds, napping on the couch or a nice bed and spending time with my family.  I’m sure there will be a lot more that we will enjoy doing together as I grow up! / Other than the crate, I’m still a bit afraid of the leash, but I’m progressing with this training in my fosters’ yard. I can’t think of any dislikes yet since I’m so young, but I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I've started my puppy shots, but you will have to finish these for me as I grow.  I’m also micro-chipped and spayed. If you’re ready for the fun and excitement of having a puppy as well as the training commitment, then let’s meet!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adoption Process
