Meet Devin

A SWEET & SCRUFFY FRIEND:  Approx. 3 years old / Approx. 28 lbs. Hello – I’m Devin!  I came to Mostly Mutts from animal control and I’m loving all the attention I’m getting from the nice volunteers while I wait for my new family to find me.  Come meet me soon! • OTHER DOGS/CATS/KIDS:  I met other dogs at Mostly Mutts and liked them so if you have a dog already, let’s meet! / Cats unknown. / I haven’t met kids yet at Mostly Mutts, so let’s meet and best no toddlers that I may bump over. • PERSONALITY/ENERGY LEVEL:  I’m a scruffy guy who is as fun as I am sweet.  My affectionate and gentle nature will melt your heart as we spend time together.  I am friendly and quite sociable and am happiest when I’m where the people are.  I just may give you a kiss to show you that I love you!  At the shelter, I can be quite vocal but in a temporary home I visited for several days, I was quiet.  I did, however, jump the 5-foot fence and was reported to dig some, so I should not be left alone in a fenced yard.  Let’s just go for walks on a leash.  / My energy level is 4-6. • SKILLS/CRATE/POTTY:  I am a student in the Mostly Mutts University training program and look forward to learning a lot with my trainer, including my door etiquette, as I’m a door dasher and don’t want to run off and get hurt or lost.  Check back soon to see how I’m doing with that and what else I've learned. / I should not have a wire type kennel as they are very stressful to me, and I’ve damaged them.  At Mostly Mutts, I’m in a little room and doing much better with that. / I've been having accidents on the shelter schedule but did well in the home I visited for several days.  So, hopefully that will be the case in my new home. • LIKES/DISLIKES:  I love to be with people, so I look forward to being your loyal companion – always at your side.  I’ll give you kisses and lean in for all the petting.  Toys are fun, too – so let’s have some fun play sessions together. / Other than that icky crate, and not loving my ear cleaning, though I did tolerate it, I can’t think of any dislikes.  But I’m sure I wouldn’t like it if I didn’t get enough love, attention, exercise, and training. • MEDICAL:  I'm current on vaccinations, micro-chipped and neutered. I am looking for a loving and attentive family to give me a great furever home!  My adoption fee is $299.00, and I’m located in Kennesaw, Ga.

Adoption Process
Mostly Mutts Animal Rescue & Adoption's Adoption Process Our facility is currently open to the public Monday-Saturday, 11-3. We welcome you to come meet our adoptable Mutts & Kitties! Please keep in mind the following: Many of our adoptable Mutts & Kitties are in foster homes, so please call 770-272-6888 to find out if the pet you are interested in is at our facility. With an approved application we can set up meet & greets and adoptions with a pet in foster care. We are not yet up to full ‘staffing’ following the pandemic, so there may be times when we cannot do meet & greets or process an application on the spot. The best first step is to submit an application via www.mostlymutts.org. Our adoption counselors are happy to help make a great match for you and your family! Adoption Info: Adoptions are being scheduled for approved applicants, by appointment only. Please submit an application through our website at www.mostlymutts.org if you are interested in one of our adoptable pets. We are receiving a large volume of applications and processing may take a little bit longer than normal. We are grateful for your interest, and an adoption counselor will be in touch as quickly as possible. Please give us 48 hours to respond before sending a follow-up email. Don’t see a dog or cat for you on the website? Submit the application anyway!! We are taking in a large number of dogs and cats weekly. Due to the overwhelming demand, many are matched with approved applicants prior to being posted online. Our adoption counselors will be happy to help make a great match for you and your family.
