My name is Lois Vassilion and I moved to this impoverished area of SE Ga. 15 years ago. My main profession is a Critical Care Nurse. When my husband and I got here, we discovered there were no animal services in the county and abandoned pets everywhere. We started BARC at that time to provide health services to these pets and a home.

KINKAID was born on 2/3/25 as an oops litter. This beautiful little baby is adorable and highly sociable. He is the perfect age to acclimate with another pet. He has up to date vaccines, microchipped and rescue pays for his neuter when he is old enough. He is now ready to find his own person / family. Adoption Process
The person must fill out an online application and be approved. They sign a contract and are given a copy of the health record. Our adoption fees range from $100-$350 depending on the adoptability of the pet.
