Pet Adoption League of Gem County

We are a non-profit animal shelter ran by animal loving volunteers. We are a no kill shelter. We spay and neuter all our pets before adopting out. Our goal here is to return lost pets to their owners, find homes for those who have none, and promote compassionate treatment of animals everywhere.

Meet Mickey - (Adoption Sponsored)!

Meet Mickey Personality: Mickey is a friendly guy with a gentle spirit. He may be a bit timid when meeting new people, but once he warms up, he's incredibly affectionate and loyal. His senior status adds to his charm, as he embodies wisdom and calmness. Health Condition: Mickey is experiencing some health issues. Please contact PAL for more information about his health status and needs. Ideal Home: Mickey would thrive in a calm and nurturing environment where he can feel secure and loved. A patient and understanding family or individual who can give him the time and space he needs to adjust and build trust would be perfect for him. Mickey may benefit from a home with older children or adults who can respect his boundaries and provide him with gentle care. How to Adopt or Foster Mickey: If you're interested in providing Mickey with a loving forever home or temporary foster care, please contact the Pet Adoption League (PAL) for more information. PAL staff will be happy to discuss Mickey's needs, health status, and adoption/foster process in detail.  Volunteer Opportunities: PAL is always looking for individuals eager to lend a helping hand as a volunteer. Whether you can spare a couple of hours a week or more, there are many opportunities available to suit your schedule. If you're interested in becoming a volunteer, please submit an application here.  Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of animals in need.
