Fuzzy Pawz Rescue

We are a group of volunteers whose mission is to rescue and re-home abandoned, stray and neglected dogs and cats throughout Southern Idaho and Northern Utah. We work with many shelters and pounds that often find themselves with no room to spare.Whenever possible we also assist dogs and cats who, because of extenuating circumstances, are unable to remain in their homes with their owners.

Foster Location:  South Jordan, Utah Age:  1 year old Breed: Golden Retriever Size:  52 pounds Spayed, Vaccinated, microchipped   Adoption fee: $250.00 + $17.99 microchip registration fee   DO NOT email us, you must fill out an application if interested: Adoption Application: https://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/   Kayla had a tough start in life. She spent most of her time living in a garage, but her neighbors were able to convince her owner to give her to them. Despite her neglect the first year of her life, she loves everyone. She loves all people big and small, and every dog she has met. She also met a cat briefly and that went well too.   Because of her past she gets scared in new situations but warms up quickly with encouragement from her foster Mom.  She has had little to no training previously but is trying hard to learn. She has figured out the dog door and loves to copy the other dogs in the house and is already doing better with potty training. She sleeps in the crate at night, though you do have to bribe her to go in, and if you leave her in the room alone she will bark. She rarely barks otherwise.  She is also great on car rides.   She will need help with her walks as she had never been on one before going to her foster Mom.  She is so excited to be outside she has a hard time walking in a straight line. She loves everyone so much she has a hard time not jumping up at first, so she will need practice with that too. She will also need help with controlling her love of water. It makes giving her a bath easy, but her foster mom has to keep her water bowl outside because she loves to splash and play in it.   She would also do best in a home with space for running around and a confident playmate that can keep up with her puppy energy. All that being said she is just a sweet, loving girl. Between playing and at the end of the day all she wants is to give gentle kisses, and snuggle with her new family.
