Pet Adoption League of Gem County

We are a non-profit animal shelter ran by animal loving volunteers. We are a no kill shelter. We spay and neuter all our pets before adopting out. Our goal here is to return lost pets to their owners, find homes for those who have none, and promote compassionate treatment of animals everywhere.

Meet Odin

Meet Odin! 1 Year, 2 Months Old Male Great Pyrenees Guardian Dog for Goats and/or Sheep Not a housepet – Outside Working Dog Only Independent and Loner. Interacts on His Terms Non-Aggressive Good with Other Dogs Sweet, Old Soul Odin is a loyal and dedicated guardian dog looking for his perfect working home. As a Great Pyrenees, he is naturally suited for protecting goats, sheep, or other livestock. Odin thrives as an independent, outdoor dog and is not suited for life as a housepet. He has a calm and non-aggressive demeanor and gets along well with other dogs. Odin has a sweet, "old soul" personality, but he prefers to interact on his own terms. If you’re in need of a guardian dog who is reliable, self-sufficient, and gentle, Odin is ready to join your farm or ranch. If you're searching for a hardworking and noble companion for your livestock, Odin is waiting to meet you! All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information     Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.     Pet Adoption League  1526 N.
