It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Meet Quinn

Meet, Quinn! Quinn is a lab mix looking for a foster home until her vetting is completed. She is currently at the Spencer County location. Quinn weighs around 25 lbs and will be a year old in February. She knows sit and does well on a leash. We are hoping that she will be able to spend her first birthday in a home! If you would be interested in giving this sweet girl a temporary place to hang out,  complete a foster application at ITVrescue.org.All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.

Adoption Process
Adoption application and contract, adoption fee from $200 to $300
