Bond County Humane Society

Bond County Humane Society (BCHS) was formed in 2003 by Rachel & Dennis Hundsdorfer and a small group of concerned citizens. The mission is to provide temporary housing to stray, unwanted and neglected cats and dogs until permanent loving homes can be found. Our mission also includes controlling the pet overpopulation through low cost spay/neuter programs. We offer local low cost spay/neuter programs for companion animals and low cost spay/neuter programs for feral free roaming cats. We actively participate in humane education programs with a group of volunteers from surrounding counties to elementary and high schools those counties. BCHS was formed because we saw a need for improving animal welfare in Bond County.

Meet Ralph

Hi, my name is Ralph and I'm about 13 weeks old.  Me and my litter mate, Ryker, were rescued by Bond County Humane Society from a shelter in Kentucky.   We were found as strays and no one claimed us.  I am friendly, playful and affectionate.  I like toys, but my favorite game is to play with my litter mate, Ryker.  I know how to "Sit" for treats. I am working on my puppy manners, but still need training.  I am crate trained.  I am available for immediate adoption.  I am neutered, UTD on vaccinations, heartworm tested, treated for internal and external parasites and micro chipped.  My adoption fee is $250.  If you are interested in making me a member of your family please complete an Adoption Profile in person or on-line at www.bondcohumane.org.  Email the completed profile to the address provided.  A copy of our policy regarding warranties, refunds and returns is available upon request.

Adoption Process
All adopters are required to complete an profile. The profile is screened by an adoption counselor. All animals are meant to be pets and live inside. No dogs are allowed to live outside and roam free. All cats are inside cats only. All animals are tested, vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites, spayed/neutered and micro chipped prior to adoption. Adoption fees: kittens - $90, adult cats - $60, puppies - $125, adult dogs - $100. There are exceptions to the fees depending on various criteria.
