Wish Bone Canine Rescue

several people broke off from a local rescue that had become, in our opinion, too much about prestige and money. They also weren't doing a good job in caring for the pets physically and mentally. We want to focus on the quality of our work, not quantity. We do rescue simply because it's the right thing to do! I am a certified vet tech so i've always thought that it's kind of my duty to share my talents.

Meet Archer

Meet Archer, a nature-loving pup with a zest for the great outdoors! Archer is a 1 year old, 56 pound, Siberian Husky mix. He’s happiest when he’s outside, whether he’s soaking up the sun, running around, or playing with his favorite toys—especially balls! This smart boy already knows “sit,” “lay,” and “wait,” and he’s a pro at waiting patiently for his food. Archer is a calm, quiet companion in the shelter, keeping a clean kennel and demonstrating his gentle, polite nature. Archer’s friendly personality shines through, and while he might jump with excitement when he first sees you, he quickly settles down and keeps his paws to himself. A fantastic listener and quick learner, Archer would make a wonderful companion for anyone who loves the outdoors as much as he does. If you’re looking for a smart, loyal, and easygoing friend, Archer might just be the perfect match for you! His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
