Meet Miles (a courtesy listing in Oak Forest, IL)
Miles is a young, energetic dog who is likely a purebred Border Collie, whose activity level has proved to be more than his current owners can manage; they are looking for a forever home for Miles, who now resides with them in a Chicago suburb. Miles is a well-behaved dog who is young and seems highly trainable; he needs something to do and a breed-savvy owner who will help him mature into the dog he can be. His owners say this about Miles: He was found on the streets of Kentucky living as a stray. He is very friendly. He loves different dogsand people. He enjoys a variety of toys. Hard, soft, bones, etc. He enjoys to be outside where he cankeep an eye on the squirrels. If you think Miles is a dog who could share your life and home, please contact his owners at [email protected]
Adoption Process
Adoption process includes completing an application, having personal references checked, vet checks and home visit by one of our volunteers. Your application and backup information is then presented to the Board/Committee for review. Once your application has been approved, you may then schedule a meeting with the dog(s) in which you are interested. The foster home has the final approval on the adoption of his or her dog.
