Meet Reesie

This little gem is Reesie. She is a 4 lb terrier mix born around 6/15. She is super sweet and a talkative little diva with a light caramel and white pattern coat. She’s got the most deliciously floppy big ears, and legend has it that just one glance at her sleepy face will completely melt your heart! She loves a good tug of war and flopping over on a nice, cool patch of grass, as well as wrestling her brothers. She has a unique marking; one eyelash is brown and the other eyelash is white. I love it! She is both pen and crate trained, and is working on her potty training. Reesie is very sensitive, she shows all expressions, you can tell when her little feelings are hurt. It can really melt your heart watching her. She goes to work with her foster mom each day, she knows to settle when people come into the office, and will dazzle all that greet her. Reesie is on the smaller side, she would do best with kids over 10. She sits low, she has short legs. She would do best with another furry companion, friendly cat, or another dog.  If you are interested in adopting/meeting , please complete our online adoption application that you can find here: https://www.starfishanimalrescue.com/adopt/dog-adoption-application  . Your application will be reviewed by our team and if it is a good fit, we will send to the foster family to set up a meet! The adoption fee of $500 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! *please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs. Thank you for your understanding.

Adoption Process
Interested adopters need to complete a pre adoption application. This can be found on our website at www.starfishanimalrescue.com - we schedule meet and greets with approved applications only. We do home visits and vet checks. If you have questions about our adoption process please email us at [email protected]
