Meet Cappy

Cappy Available for Foster to Adopt pending Neuter You might notice right away that I have a special way of saying hello – I just can't help but pop up on my back legs and wave my front paws when I see someone I like (which is pretty much everyone)! I know it makes people smile, and making my humans happy is my favorite thing in the world. At just 12 pounds and one year old, I may be small, but I've got enough personality to fill a Great Dane's body! I absolutely love playing with toys – they're my treasures, and I'd love to show you my collection. When I'm not entertaining everyone with my silly antics, I'm a total cuddle bug. There's nothing better than snuggling up next to my person after a fun walk or play session. Speaking of walks, they're one of my favorite activities! Well, that and being affectionate... and playing... and dancing... okay, I guess I just love life in general! What can I say? I'm a happy little guy! Would you like to meet me? I promise to give you my very best welcome dance! Just ask for Cappy at the shelter – I'll be the one doing the happy wiggle! I will be neutered and microchipped and have had a full veterinary checkup and vaccines. My adoption fee is $325. For more information or if you would like to meet me, please fill out an adoption survey at carenorthshore.org/dog-adoption-survey Love and wiggles, Cappy

Adoption Process
Our adoption process has evolved from many years of experience. The goal of our adoption counselors is to make a good match between animal and family. We get to know each cat or dog's unique personality and different needs. If a specific dog, for example, has large amounts of energy and needs lots of space to run, it is unlikely that he would meet the needs of a person who works long hours and would be unable to exercise the dog. It would be a mismatch that would be bad for dog and human alike. Our adoption counselors look forward to working with you to help you find the right pet for your home.
