several people broke off from a local rescue that had become, in our opinion, too much about prestige and money. They also weren't doing a good job in caring for the pets physically and mentally. We want to focus on the quality of our work, not quantity. We do rescue simply because it's the right thing to do! I am a certified vet tech so i've always thought that it's kind of my duty to share my talents.

Meet Cozmo, a 5-year-old, 61-pound gentle giant with a heart as big as his lovable personality! Cozmo is a happy, floppy boy who loves nothing more than hanging out and exploring the great outdoors. His sweet, calm nature makes him a great match for families—he's not jumpy and has a laid-back demeanor. While Cozmo’s still figuring out how he feels about other dogs, his shelter friends have no reason to believe he'd be anything but friendly. With the most adorable mop of hair on his head, he will need regular brushing to keep looking his best. Cozmo is a treat-loving goofball who knows how to sit and always keeps his kennel clean. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key companion who will happily share in your outdoor adventures and chill on the couch with you, Cozmo could be the one! Come meet this sweet boy today and see how he can steal your heart, too. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
