Meet Adam

Hello!  My name is Adam. I am an affectionate, sweet and playful medium energy, 3yr old, 30lb lab/hound mix.  I love to play with stuffed squeaky toys and roll around upside down on blankets while making cute noises. I enjoy sleeping on my foster human’s beds but prefer my dog bed that is on the floor near them. Food is my favorite thing in the world, and might possibly be my love language but I am not really into standard dog treats. My foster mom and dad often call me a “good boy.” I will sit at their feet in a dog bed if they are working or next to them on the couch if they are reading or watching a movie. I love getting scratches and barking at squirrels with my canine siblings. I am fostered with two small dogs (25lbs), one medium sized dog (30lbs), and one adult cat. I get along well with all of the dogs but cats are just not for me! e. I am very friendly toward humans, even those I don't know and love a good scratch. I even give kisses. I would love a home with a fenced-in back yard where I could run around with my humans and chase the squirrels. I am a very affectionate, sweet, and playful lab/hound mix who is looking for a forever home that I can love and call my own. The adoption fee of $300 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! *please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
