Hello big world! My name is Piper. It is thought that I am a poodle mix (with what is anyone’s guess!). I am a petite little gal at the moment with a big appetite. I was born around 9/19 weigh in at a whopping 5 pounds (the vet says I need to gain a little weight). She also thinks that I will be a medium sized dog. I love all people and other dogs but I do get a little scared and shy if you try to pick me up too quickly or come at me fast. This is why a home with children/visiting grandchildren 8 or older is ideal for me. I'm faster than you think and love a nice game of chase. A fenced in backyard would be amazing. I love to run around outside and explore. You should see me play tug of war! Tiny but mighty! I’m working on my potty training but have not mastered it just yet so I need someone patient with me as I learn. Like any puppy, I love putting things in my mouth. If you think that I am what you are looking for, submit your application today! The adoption fee of $550 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: Although we do our best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can not and will not make any guarantee on breed or size. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED! And that is the BEST breed! *please note that we are a foster home based rescue and we do home visits as part of the adoption process - we are unable to adopt to families who live outside of the Chicago and surrounding suburbs.
