Meet Teddy

Meet Teddy Bear!  Teddy is an approximately a 9 year old Pomeranian looking for his new forever home.  His previous owners relinquished him because they couldn't care for him anymore.  He came to us matted and scared, with horrible dental issues that the rescue has taken care of.  Teddy has been a wonderful foster dog.  In the month he's been with us, he's flourished and opened up to show what a wonderful dog he is.  He gets along well with the other dogs in the foster home and even plays tug of war with them!  He's good with the senior cat in the house as well.  We don't know how he is with kids but he's such a sweet boy that he'd surly be kind to anyone who's kind to him.  He is fully vaccinated, and is recovering from a dental where he lost 14 teeth!  He's learning to play with toys again and loves to talk.  He'd be a great addition to a home with other dogs.  He is housebroken and barks when he wants to go outside.  Adopter needs to understand he needs to take some time to learn to trust his new family and due to being neglected with his dental issues before coming to the rescue and receiving dental care, he has associated touching around his face and mouth with pain so he needs someone to understands that touching him around his face and mouth is off limit.  He's up to date with his vaccinations, neutered, and is microchipped.
