several people broke off from a local rescue that had become, in our opinion, too much about prestige and money. They also weren't doing a good job in caring for the pets physically and mentally. We want to focus on the quality of our work, not quantity. We do rescue simply because it's the right thing to do! I am a certified vet tech so i've always thought that it's kind of my duty to share my talents.

Meet Ren

Ren is a sweet and affectionate Havanese mix, born around January 30, 2025. With her soft fur and gentle personality, she is sure to charm everyone she meets. At just under 8 pounds, she may be small, but her heart is full of love. Ren is friendly, happy, and adaptable, making her a wonderful fit for many types of families. She enjoys playing with toys and always appreciates having something to chew on. She is also great with other dogs and children, making her an excellent companion for a multi-pet household or a family with kids. Her foster mom describes her as “the sweetest pup,” and she is already making great progress with potty training. She is smart, eager to learn, and always ready to cuddle up after a day of play. Whether she’s exploring, snuggling, or simply keeping you company, Ren is sure to bring endless joy to her forever home.  Ren needs a local adopter, within 60 minutes of Bloomington-Normal, IL. This is to ensure the adopter will bring her back for our vet to spay when we determine a date for her surgery. If you’re looking for a loving and adaptable puppy to complete your family, Ren might be the perfect match! Her minimum adoption fee is $350 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
