Dog was surrendered by owner stating it was nipping at the kids heels when the kids would run. This is a herding dog and this behavior is typical breed behavior. Cass Co Animal Control was going to euthanize for aggression without any temperament testing or assessments. Dog has shown no signs of aggression. Previous owner stated they repeatedly left the dog unattended with the 6 young children of the family. Full disclosure to potential adopters.
