Meet Coney

Coney is a 1-year-old, 9-pound Dachshund mix with a gentle spirit and a big heart. He’s still working on his house-training and needs a family who can give him lots of love and patience to help him along the way. Once he feels safe, Coney blossoms into a super cuddly companion who adores being carried around by his favorite people. Though he’s initially timid, Coney warms up faster with women and shows his playful, loyal side. He’s happiest when he’s with other dogs or enjoying some quality playtime with his toys. Coney would thrive in a calm, understanding home that’s ready to give him the time he needs to feel truly at home. If you’re looking for a loyal, cuddly friend who’s as sweet as can be, Coney might just be the perfect hot dog for you!  His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
