Wish Bone Canine Rescue

several people broke off from a local rescue that had become, in our opinion, too much about prestige and money. They also weren't doing a good job in caring for the pets physically and mentally. We want to focus on the quality of our work, not quantity. We do rescue simply because it's the right thing to do! I am a certified vet tech so i've always thought that it's kind of my duty to share my talents.

Meet Mimi

Mimi, a 3-year-old Miniature Goldendoodle weighing 34.3 lbs, is a delightful companion with a heartwarming story as a breeder release. While adapting to a world that still holds many new and intimidating things, Mimi's sweetness shines through. She joyfully engages with other dogs, relishing playtime with toys.   Her endearing qualities include being friendly, outgoing, happy, and loyal, yet she possesses a delicate side, easily startled and occasionally skittish. A fenced yard is a must for her, and she may vocalize when surprised, making a home without shared walls ideal. Housetrained and accustomed to sleeping gated in another room, Mimi thrives on indoor bonding with her human companions and outdoor exploration.   Mimi's foster mom affectionately describes her as the ultimate cuddle bug, expressing a penchant for gentle hugs from both adults and children. Despite initial startles around new faces, she's on a journey to realizing that they can be friends. Mimi flourishes in an environment with patient owners who revel in showering her with affection.   To bring Mimi into your home, the minimum adoption fee is $400, plus a $15 fee (for those 4 months or older) for rabies registration, exclusive to McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives. To be considered for adoption, you must first submit the application found at:   http://fs16.formsite.com/WishBoneCanineRescue/adoptionapplication/index.html For information about this dog's breed(s), visit: http://www.dogbreedinfo.com/abc.htm
