Meet Murray, a lovable Lab mix with an estimated DOB of October 2024. Weighing in at about 32 pounds, Murray is a big-hearted puppy who is full of playful energy and affection. He's looking for a home that will provide him with gentle guidance as he continues to learn good manners and basic commands. Murray is making progress with both house and crate training. He does best when crated near other dogs and is learning that consistent meals mean he doesn't have to search for food. While he can be a little overenthusiastic with other dogs, he takes cues well and enjoys both playtime and snuggling with his fur siblings. When his canine friends aren't in the mood to play, Murray is content to entertain himself with toys or settle in for a cozy nap. This sweet and happy boy thrives with both human and dog companionship. He loves spending time in the yard, going for car rides, and playing with toys. While he hasn’t been exposed to children, he has shown himself to be friendly and playful with everyone he meets. He does have a deep bark when startled by new sounds, so a home without shared walls would be ideal. While not required, Murray would do best in a home with another dog to help show him the ropes and keep him company. If you're looking for an affectionate, playful companion who is eager to learn and loves to cuddle, Murray might just be the perfect addition to your family. Could you be the one to give this sweet pup the loving home he deserves? His minimum adoption fee is $325 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
