It Takes A Village No-Kill Rescue

It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Maximilian is an 8-year-old brindle boxer with a heart as big as his personality. He currently lives with his "brother," Cain, and has proven to be great with small breed dogs and kids.Maximilian is sweet, lovable, and ready to bring his gentle charm to a forever home. Whether he's snuggling up with his family or simply being the good boy he is, Maximilian is sure to steal your heart.Adoption applications can be submitted at ITVrescue.org.All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated if necessary.
