It Takes A Village Rescue, Inc. is a non-kill 501(c)(3) rescue dedicated to doing what it takes to find loving homes for stray, abandoned, and surrendered animals, and to keep these animals safe and free from further suffering. Our mission is "To work as one in helping homeless animals irrespective of breed, location or circumstance." By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, veterinarians and partner rescues or shelters, we are able to rescue countless animals every year and provide them with loving temporary care as we work to find them well-matched forever homes. Although we do not discriminate based on breed, size or color, we have a particular interest in bully breeds, special medical needs, senior dogs, black dogs and other hard-to-place animals.

Introducing Gwynn! This sweet girl just celebrated her 1st birthday on February 10th and is eager to find her forever home. Gwynn is a delightful lab mix, weighing 40 lbs, with a beautiful black and white coat that reflects her vibrant personality.Gwynn is great with dogs and kids, making her an ideal companion for families. She already knows how to shake and walks well on a leash, ready for all sorts of adventures with her new family!Originally surrendered to our Spencer County location along with her sisters, Quinn and Brenn, Gwynn is excited to find a loving home where she can thrive and create lasting memories.If you're looking for a playful and affectionate friend, Gwynn is the perfect match! Apply to adopt her at ITVrescue.org and give her the loving home she’s been waiting for!All of our dogs are examined by a veterinarian, given age-appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, spayed or neutered, heartworm tested and treated, if necessary.
